Prior to founding my business, I worked in the public sector in customer service organizations for over 26 years with the last 15 years in Director level positions. I have served in leadership positions in several local, state and national organizations.
I understand your challenges of being strategic, aligning vision and execution, serving customers, providing staff support to policy makers, and managing staff, projects, resources, and politics in a continuously changing environment.
I received a BS from University of Nebraska and am a member of the American Society for Training and Development and Society for Human Resource Management.
I am an Influencing Options trainer. I received my training from my mentor, Bob Weyant, the originator of Influencing Options. Bob taught me the importance of options, choosing options based on my values, and the incredible impact of our behavior on our relationships in life. I believe, without a doubt, that respectful, empathetic, specific, and genunine behavior makes all the difference in our effectiveness as individuals and teams. I applied my training in real life situations for over 20 years before becoming an official Influencing Options trainer in 2000.
On a Personal Note: I love to downhill ski, golf, hike, swim, paint and enjoy almost all music. Thankfully, I live in the Pacific Northwest where I can enjoy the great outdoors!
